Personal goals of a Staffordshire University Student

There are many goals I want to achieve as a student of the Staffordshire University. Some of them will be easier to achieve then others, but I will be doing my best to accomplish them all. One of the obvious goals is to achieve the highest grades as possible.

Throughout High School this was not a goal for me and I chose not to apply myself and was happy to settle for the best “A” or “B” grades. In doing so I missed out on a lot of material I could have been studying and learning about. If I have good grades and my aim to be graduated in Staffordshire with a First Class. When I graduated High School and began looking into going to organizations. If I have good high grades then I can apply the company soon and work in the highest post. I also doing everything I could to learn and take away as much information I could from each and everything course. As!
I am currently doing my Bachelors Degree at the Staffordshire University  I still have the mindset of obtaining the highest grades as possible. I feel even stronger about obtaining and maintaining high grades. To achieve this I will stay committed to reading all of the material provided and will complete all assignments to the best of my ability.

Another goal I have is to stay organized in school so I will have free time for friends and family. I have been doing this by listing out everything, which is required for me to do during the school week. I list out the assignments and readings as well as deadline for the material to be completed. I have been able to stay organized this way by doing a little work each day.

I find pacing myself has been a big help instead of attempting to do everything all as one and waiting until the last minute. I recently began using my lunch break at work to complete some schoolwork as well. This has been extremely useful as it allows me to spend more time with family and friends since a good portion of my daily schoolwork can be completed. It is very helpful having a good portion of my schoolwork done before I even leave from work.

An additional objective of mine is to be able to assist others during the time I am obtaining my degree, as well as after my degree is obtained. I really enjoy meeting others and assisting people any way I can with issues and problems they may have.

With the education and experience I am receiving at the Staffordshire University I am able to take the skills and experiences and apply them on a daily basis to assist coworkers as well as members of the public whom I deal with throughout the day. I realize some people are not as fortunate to be able to continue their education and feel those fortunate enough to have been able to continue their education have an obligation to assist others. During my schooling I hope to assist my peers with any problems or questions, which may come up. I have some skills in it!

My final goal is to learn as much from my peers as possible. Some people will have less experience and others will have more, but most important everyone learned things from their own experiences. A goal of mine is to learn from each and every one of my peers and to take something from each person. Each person will bring to the table different strengths, which will assist me in my field now and for years to come. I hope in meeting new people it will give me the opportunity to build up many more contacts and resources in the field.

These are a few of the many goals I plan on achieving as a student at the Staffordshire University. With determination and discipline I believe I will be successful in achieving these goals

A wise man will make more opportunities than he finds

The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.

We all have educational and personal goals in life. Personal goals are an important, ever changing first step in planning our future. These goals will change many times throughout our lives. Currently, my education goals are most important. In three to five years, my family goals may be most important.
This is where my educational goals come to play. Short-term, completing the Bachelor’s Degree within the next 2 and 1/2 year means 3 years and my Master’s within the next years.

Physical and spiritual goals are extremely important to me at this point in life as well. In the past few years, I have lost my way a bit and have fallen out of physical and mental shape. Family is a major part and priority in my life. Finally yet importantly, in my list of goals is contentment in life or my pleasure goals. Building a four -bedroom, four-and-a-half-bath house with a professionally landscaped 1.5-acre lot and a meditation garden, which I plan to design, is a great pleasure goal for me. My desire to travel to UK and to spend some years two – three years and this is also personal pleasure goals.

These goals are all completely attainable as long as I keep focused and keep an updated version of my goals. Once I begin attaining my short-term goals and can start marking them off my list, I will have the motivation and sense of achievement I need to continue to complete my ever changing list of personal goals and educational goals.

The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want and if they can't find them, make them.

Let's start prioritizing goals

We start the procedure of goal setting by looking at the lifetime goals. Then, we work down to the things that you can do in, say, the next five years, then next year, next month, next week, and today, to start moving towards them.

Step 1: Setting Lifetime Goals

The first step in setting personal goals is to consider what you want to achieve in your lifetime. Setting lifetime goals gives you the overall standpoint that shapes all other aspects of your decision making.
To give a broad, balanced coverage of all important areas in your life, try to set goals in some of the following categories:

·         Career - What level do you want to reach in your career, or what do you want to achieve?
·         Financial - How much do you want to earn, by what stage? How is this related to your career goals?
·         Education - Is there any knowledge you want to acquire in particular? What information and skills will you need to have in order to achieve other goals?
·         Family - Do you want to be a parent? If so, how are you going to be a good parent? How do you want to be seen by a partner or by members of your extended family?
·         Artistic - Do you want to achieve any artistic goals?
·         Attitude - Is any part of your mindset holding you back? Is there any part of the way that you behave that upsets you?
·         Physical - Are there any athletic goals that you want to achieve, or do you want good health deep into old age? What steps are you going to take to achieve this?
·         Pleasure - How do you want to enjoy yourself?
·         Public Service - Do you want to make the world a better place? If so, how?

Spend some time inspiration these things, and then select one or more goals in each category that best reflect what you want to do. Then consider decoration again so that you have a small number of really significant goals that you can focus on.

As you do this, make sure that the goals that you have set are ones that you genuinely want to achieve, not ones that your parents, family, or employers might want.

* Craft the personal mission statement and this can help bring your most important goals into sharp focus.*

Step 2: Setting Smaller Goals

Once you have positioned your lifetime goals, set a five-year plan of smaller goals that you require to complete if you are to reach your lifetime plan.

Then create a one-year plan, six-month plan, and a one-month plan of progressively smaller goals that you should reach to achieve your lifetime goals.

Each of these should be based on the previous plan.
Create a daily To-Do List of things that you should do today to work towards your lifetime goals.
Finally review your plans, and make sure that they fit the way in which you want to live your life.

How to act in the life as well as the power of enthusiasm is uttered by challenging the individual while setting the goals.

By setting sharp, timely, clearly defined goals, you can measure and take pride in the achievement of those goals in the future and you can see the forward progress exceptionally almost immediately. You will also raise your self-confidence and will be strongly live as you recognize your own ability and competence in achieving the goals that you have set. You set your goals on a number of levels:
·         First you create your "big picture" of what you want to do with your life (or over, say, the next 10 years), and identify the large-scale goals that you want to achieve.
·         Then, you break these down into the smaller and smaller targets that you must hit to reach your lifetime goals.
·         Finally, once you have your plan, you start working on it to achieve these goals.
