Goals for students

What is it that the universities want students to gain from the higher education? What are the goals that the universities should constantly work to promote in students?

Considering the ideas of the students I have come to a final decision where it leads to little understanding about the goals for students that focus on life learning skills and other qualities that will be valuable to them in the future. This is common to each career choice. 

I hope that you guys have thought about the goals extensively. We all want great things for our future.

1) Students will demonstrate critical thinking.

A student who demonstrates critical thinking will look for their viewpoint using relevant evidence to prove it accurately. Students will raise questions when they get to know new things and look for further sources of evidence to support the real understanding of the concept. Some students agree when one party says the answer to the question without questioning. But I decline that technique. Why? Because that person can say a wrong answer and make the student as a fool. A student who is capable of critical thinking should be able to ask more and more questions gradually to understand the solution well how to solve a particular problems.

Think this is the question you got in a question paper. Then you ask from somebody how to solve this? In that case he may say answer is x²+2xy+y². But you don’t have an idea how this answer come from? L Then you say Thanks. In this matter if you are a critical thinker you will be able to ask how you got this answer. Did you multiply(x+y) (x+y)? And how can be 2xy? Like that and can you please explain me the steps.

2) Students will demonstrate a deep understanding of content and be able to apply this knowledge to problems in and out of the classroom.

Students should be able to understand the content which is teaching in the university well and should have the ability to apply that theory to solve the problems. Therefore you should ,ake understand by asking questions from the tutor in and try to understand. Don’t be shy if you didn’t understand in 1^st time then ask 2 or 3 or more than times. Also inside the classroom practice the scenarios where these types of problems arise and then ask then to solve using that theory which you explained.

 If he can’t then you again explain and simply say the problem. Then the student will be able to solve that successfully. This way helps the students to solve the problems rising in the business organizations quickly in future life.

Here is an example where we faced difficult in the university studies.

- The lecturer explained what is ….? When we use it? And also gave an exercise to us which are needed to be completed in the class. We did the easiest one the question one only and came in the next morning. Then he asked did you all complete my work. We said nope but he blamed us and showed the answer and said this is the answer. But we couldn’t understand that well. So we asked plenty of questions. But he couldn’t reply to those. Then we all skipped that part.

But we did the assignment well with the help of the Internet. What did we do? As we are just after O/L we asked that from seniors and searched in Internet and got understood well. If we understand the main concept we are raising the questions initially. Then here after we couldn’t do the work successfully until another person explains the same thing from the beginning.

 Now we can solve any problem successfully and we are solving the problems I companies as well currently and providing the best solutions. We are thankful to the lecturer who taught us that part again.  I think this is a good situation for the readers to understand this goal well.

3) Students will demonstrate creativity and curiosity.
Students who are creative will propose original ways to approach for solving a problem. Students will ask questions during class discussion and you should try to answer questions by using the previous knowledge. Students who are curious will come up with possible investigations and provide the best solution with the explanations. Here the students will improve the ways to develop be creative in the future life.

The major goals were discussed with examples for the understanding of the students in any level and to make the life easier.
