Why is agriculture important in the world of today?

“The discovery of agriculture was the first big step toward a civilized life.” is a famous quote by Arthur Keith. This emphasizes that the agriculture plays a vital role in the economy of every nation. Since the dawn of history agriculture has been one of the significant earnings of producing food for human utilization. Today more and more lands are being developed for the production of a large variety crops. 

In Asia, immeasurable areas of grounds are being used to fabricate rice, wheat, rubber and a variety of other crops. Agriculture developed over the centuries and each innovation caused changes in the human life.
    ·    The primary agricultural products consist of harvest plants for the people, animal and domestic animal which were kept for sale.

It keeps the economy running and helps people to survive. More than half of the lands engaged and developed by human beings in the world are devoted to agriculture. Mainly agriculture is the main contribution to the Gross Domestic Production over the past years. At the same time the productivity has been increasing. That agriculture is one of the most fundamental resources of producing food. It is understood when we think of the types of things that we eat. 

Men eat are the products of the soil that covers the earth. In fact, everything that we eat apart from meat, fish and other kinds of flesh come from the land and what grows on the land is part of agriculture.

The organizations should encourage the renovation of agriculture as a sector to support the growth of industry and services. It makes life easier for people because it is a way of supplying the basic human needs. In the same way, many of the medicines that we use are made of plants that grow in various parts of the world.

Therefore still men working to agriculture for the livelihood. Today, agriculture continues to provide almost all the food that men require to survive on the earth.
